Als ich im Frühjahr 2015 meine Indexfonds verkauft hatte und begann, mein eigenes Portfolio zusammenzustellen, hatte ich vor allem eine Angst; nämlich, dass ich eine Aktie auswähle, die einen grossen Verlust macht.
Die Angst ist sehr begründet, denn die Natur des Aktienmarkts diktiert, dass man auch Verluste macht. Risiko ist Teil des Lebens. Verzichten Sie auf Skifahren, nur weil das Risiko besteht, umzufallen? Kaum.
Und so bin ich ausgerechnet mit Meyer Burger umgefallen. Wenn Sie sich erinnern, ich habe Meyer Burger gekauft, weil ich den CEO mag und das Unternehmen ein Kunde von Obermatt ist.
Es war die einzige Aktie, die ich aus emotionalen Gründen gekauft habe, und prompt hat’s weh getan. Soll man darauf verzichten? Ich denke nicht, denn wir sind ja alles Geschöpfe mit Gefühlen. Wenn man nur 5% in eine Aktie investiert, dann darf man auch einmal den Gefühlen freien Lauf lassen.
So war mein Verlust bei Meyer Burger auch nicht 39%, sondern nur 5% davon, nämlich 2% von meinem Portfolio. Für jede meiner Verlustaktien, Luxottica (-24%), Vodafone (-20%), Sanofi (-15%), BAE Systems (-10%) und Sandvik (-6%), gab es genug Gewinner, so dass das Portfolio als Ganzes heute leicht im Plus ist.
Aus der Rückschau zeigt sich, daß im Frühjahr 2015 bisher der Höhepunkt der seit dem Frühjahr 2009 laufenden Hausse nach der Finanz- und Wirtschaftskrise in Europa war.

Wäre es nicht glücklicher – ggf. in sicheren Anlagen wie Staatsanleihen höchster Bonität investiert, wer dem Babkensystem nicht vertraut – auf den Tiefpunkt des aktuellen Niedergangs zu warten, zumal die seitherigen Verluste gerade bei zyklischen Titeln beträchtlich sind?
Interessieren Sie sich bei den Quartalsergebnissen weniger für die absoluten Zahlen, sondern eher für die Richtung (ansteigend – absteigend – stagnierend) sowie für die Steigerungsraten der Ergebnisse, eingebunden im historischen Kontext der letzten 10 Jahre.
Leider habe ich noch keine gute Seite gefunden, die das visualisiert.
Aber vielleicht weiß hier jemand Abhilfe?
Obligationen tönen nur sicher, sind sie aber nicht.
Zurzeit sind die Zinsen bei Staatsanleihen höchster Bonität negativ. Das heisst, sie fallen im Wert, wenn sich die Zinsen wieder normalisieren. Dazu das Video: https://youtu.be/Mxodn83CQUA.
